# Borrow Against Crypto Collateral Across Six Protocols

> Deposit collateral and borrow at the best available terms with Supersmooth Borrow. Compare 200+ markets side by side, route proceeds into yield, and protect positions with free automations.

Supersmooth Borrow lets you deposit collateral and borrow against it at the best available terms across six lending protocols. Supersmooth displays each market's liquidation design, oracle, and rate so you can choose a venue deliberately, and refinance later when a better venue appears.

## Getting started

<Steps>
  <Step title="Choose a venue deliberately">
    Compare Supersmooth markets on maximum LTV, rate, liquidity, oracle design, and liquidation mechanics, not only on the cheapest rate.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enter deposit and borrow amounts">
    The Supersmooth preview shows LTV against Liquidation LTV, liquidation price, and Net Borrow Rate.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Route the proceeds, optionally">
    Supersmooth Yield Spread Zap sends borrowed funds straight into an Earn strategy. Supersmooth Swap Zap converts borrowed funds to a different asset. Both run in the same transaction as the borrow.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Approve and confirm">
    Then set a free Stop Loss or Trailing Stop Loss. Protection on Supersmooth Borrow positions executes at no Supersmooth fee.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Manage the position">
    You can repay, borrow more, refinance to a better venue, or add automations from the Supersmooth position page.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Why use Supersmooth Borrow

* **Liquidity without selling.** Access stablecoins against ETH or BTC holdings while keeping full upside exposure, and without realizing a taxable disposal in many jurisdictions. Tax treatment is specific to each user, and Supersmooth does not give tax advice.
* **Choose a venue on facts.** Supersmooth displays more than 200 borrow markets side by side with maximum LTV, rate, liquidity, oracle design, and liquidation mechanics. The cheapest rate is not always the right market, and Supersmooth shows the tradeoffs rather than hiding them.
* **Capture rate spreads.** Borrow at 3% and deposit into a vault earning 7% in a single transaction using Supersmooth Yield Spread Zap.
* **Protected debt.** A Supersmooth Borrow position includes a free Stop Loss and a free Trailing Stop Loss.

## Features

* Deposit, Withdraw, Borrow, and Repay, each in a single transaction
* Cross-asset actions throughout: borrow USDC and receive USDT, or deposit in any token via built-in conversion
* Yield Spread Zap: borrow and deposit into a target yield vault in one transaction
* Swap Zap: borrow and swap to a different asset in one transaction
* Atomic Deposit plus Borrow, and atomic Withdraw plus Payback
* Multiply-style actions available on any Borrow position, because the two are structurally the same position
* All four Supersmooth Automations, with Stop Loss and Trailing Stop Loss executions free on Borrow positions
* Refinance to any supported venue in a single transaction

## Fees

Opening and holding a Supersmooth Borrow position costs the Borrow Spread Fee, which is the venue rate multiplied by 1.075 and is already inside the displayed Net Borrow Rate. Standard native-asset deposits, withdrawals, and repayments are free. Closing a Borrow position via flashloan pays the Position Swap Fee, tiered by the swap's notional at 30 bps below $100k, 25 bps to $1M, 15 bps to $10M, and 5 bps above $10M. Cross-asset actions pay the flat 15 bps Conversion Fee. Stop Loss and Trailing Stop Loss protection executes free on Supersmooth Borrow positions.
