# Trade Perpetual Futures and Spot on Hyperliquid

> Supersmooth Trade provides perpetual futures on Hyperliquid and HyperCore spot execution from the same interface, with the same wallet, alongside your lending positions.

Supersmooth Trade is the product that provides perpetual futures on Hyperliquid and spot execution from the same interface, with the same wallet, alongside your lending positions. You can fund your Hyperliquid account, open perpetual futures with native exchange-layer Take Profit and Stop Loss, trade HyperCore spot pairs, and manage everything from dedicated Supersmooth position pages.

<Warning>
Supersmooth perpetual futures are not available to US persons. See the Supersmooth Terms of Service.

## Getting started

1. **Fund the Hyperliquid account** from the in-app bridge flow, using the same wallet and with no exchange account required.
2. **Trade perpetual futures.** Pick a market, set size and multiple, choose margin mode, and attach Take Profit and Stop Loss in the open flow. These are native exchange-layer orders.
3. **Trade spot.** Trade HyperCore spot pairs from the same Supersmooth interface.
4. **Manage positions** from the dedicated Supersmooth position pages, where you can edit Take Profit and Stop Loss, adjust margin, and close.

## Why use Supersmooth Trade

* **Perpetual futures and borrow-rate exposure, side by side.** Funding rates and borrow rates are two prices for the same thing: amplified exposure. When funding is expensive, Supersmooth Multiply is often cheaper. When you need precise sizing, isolated margin, or a short-dated trade, perpetual futures are the better instrument. Supersmooth is the interface where you can make that choice per trade.
* **Hedge existing positions.** Short a perpetual future against spot or liquid-staking-token collateral held in Supersmooth Borrow or Multiply positions, without moving assets to an exchange.
* **Deep onchain liquidity.** The Hyperliquid fully onchain orderbook is the deepest perpetual futures venue in DeFi.

## Perpetual futures on Hyperliquid

* Supersmooth provides dedicated position management pages for Hyperliquid perpetual futures positions.
* Take Profit and Stop Loss are native on Hyperliquid. Hyperliquid supports Take Profit and Stop Loss order types at the exchange layer. Supersmooth exposes those order types, attachable on open and editable on the position, with exchange-layer reliability rather than external keeper infrastructure.
* Fees are Hyperliquid's own maker and taker fees plus a 5 bps Supersmooth Perps Builder Fee, collected by the Hyperliquid settlement layer. Hyperliquid funding rates also apply.
* Supersmooth perpetual futures are not available to US persons. See the Supersmooth Terms of Service.
* Venue mechanics, meaning margin, funding, and liquidations, are documented in the [Hyperliquid docs](https://hyperliquid.gitbook.io/hyperliquid-docs).

## Spot on HyperCore

Supersmooth Spot trading executes directly on the Hyperliquid fully onchain spot orderbooks, which provide real limit orders and real depth rather than an automated market maker. You can buy and sell HyperCore-listed assets with the same wallet and interface used for perpetual futures, with one-block finality.

Reasons to use Supersmooth Spot alongside perpetual futures: convert between assets at orderbook prices; take actual delivery of an asset rather than synthetic exposure; or pair spot holdings against perpetual futures shorts for basis and hedging strategies, all without leaving the Supersmooth platform.

Supersmooth Spot fees are Hyperliquid's own spot fees plus an 85 bps Supersmooth Spot Builder Fee, collected at the Hyperliquid settlement layer.
